I haven't been knitting much lately, but finally I finished some newborn wool soakers and longies.

BFL in coffee with extra cream dyed by woolywondersbynada.

Toddler socks

These are knit in Lorna's Laces sport weight superwash yarn in the daffodil colorway. I used bamboo dpn's # 3 or 4.

I made this soaker for a friend's dd, it's on its way to Israel now. The yarn is from Bungalow Buns.

Another sweater my mom made

My mom made this sweater a couple of years ago. It's now too small for E, but little I will use it next winter.

Raglan

Raglan, knit bottom up, in Zen Strings Nirvana, Mocha Java colorway. I really like this yarn, so working on a raglan for bigbrother now in the Aspen colorway, knitted top down.

Finished pirate pants

I finished the jolly roger in duplicate stitch. Now I'm thinking it could be fun to add some colorful patches to them, not sure yet

I just finished these, thinking they could be pirate pants. Where can I find a charted jolly roger to duplicate stitch on the bum?

Socks with two circulars

Why haven't I tried this before, I really liked this method and will definately do it again. I used this pattern, the mini basketweave, with #5 needles (3.5mm) and sport weight yarn. They fit my one yo.

Winter Helmet and Mittens

I made these from blackberry ridge in tropical fish on needles #6 (4 mm). I traded a pattern with Tanya and she sent me this yarn. Thank you, Tanya!

I used this pattern for the helmet, and did the smaller size for my one year old.

Earwarmer Cap

This Earwarmer Cap (LTK pattern) is made with 100purewool in the colorway Pedrera on #2 needles (2,75 mm). I sized up two sizes, but it did turn out a bit big. I embroidered ds' name on the right side.

Swell from Knitty

Here are my two versions of Swell from Knitty. I really like how they turned out. I didn't follow the exact pattern, but they are pretty much the same. I used 100purewool (wood and warm ice, pattern in crudo) and size #6 (4mm) needles, sizes small and medium.

Stripey socks

This is my first pair of socks. Just a basic sock pattern with short row heels. They only match at the cuffs, so I think I need to start from the outside of the skein next time. They are made from Regia 6-ply on 3mm needles and I used one 50g skein to make size 28.

BFL longies

And here's I in his longies made with custom dyed yarn from Brad and Woolywonders by Nada in BFL. The yarn is aran weight and I used needles #6 (4 mm).

Handdyed BFL from Ruth

Look at the beatiful bluefaced leicester yarn I got from Ruth. Can't wait to make something out of it! It's 300gr (about 10 oz) of aran weight BFL. ATM, I really like blue and brown together.
